OP LATIUM participates in activity programs of organizations operating in the olive oil sector under Reg. (EU) 2020/2220, managed by UNAPROL – CONSORZIO OLIVICOLO ITALIANO.

With a social base of approximately 9,000 companies, including 21 cooperatives across Lazio dedicated to olive growing and a network of 50 certified supply chains linked to past projects, OP LATIUM represents a widespread organization aimed at providing technical support and services to olive-growing businesses to enhance the value of their products.

In line with EU regulatory frameworks and with the goal of providing maximum support to all professional agricultural enterprises in need of qualified technical assistance, OP LATIUM has chosen to implement the following measures as part of its commercial strategy.

ACTIVITY 2 – Improving the Environmental Impact of Olive Growing

ACTION 2.b) Development of good agricultural practices, based on environmental criteria adapted to local conditions, including olive growers’ periodic monitoring of their own agricultural practices.

ACTIVITY 4 – Improving the Quality of Olive Oil and Table Olive Production

ACTION 4.a) Enhancement of cultivation, harvesting, delivery, and storage conditions before processing, combined with technical assistance.

ACTION 4.d) Technical Assistance Technical assistance for olive oil production, the olive processing industry, table olive producers, mills, and packaging companies regarding aspects related to product quality.

ACTIVITY 5 – Traceability

ACTION 5.a) Design and implementation of certified supply chain traceability systems in compliance with UNI EN ISO 22005:08 and Reg. EC 178/2002.
