work has begun to produce the Gambero Rosso Oli d’Italia 2016 guide, in collaboration with Unaprol.
The guide has reached its 6th edition and aims to feature an ever-growing number of oil producers and labels: it is a useful tool for those who trade in extra virgin olive oil, for consumers looking for guidance, and for producers who can thereby make their extra virgin oils better known.
Participation is free, except for the shipping costs of sending samples and the cost of the oil analyses to be carried out.
The [b]selection criteria[/b] are as follows:
a) quality and Italian origin of the olives; products meeting the minimum chemical parameters set by the “I.O.O. Italian Quality” specification promoted by Unaprol will be admitted
b) minimum total annual production of 10 quintals of oil
