Organization of Olive Producers LATIUM

Professional tasting committee for virgin and extra virgin olive oils

The Organization of Olive Producers LATIUM has established a professional tasting committee (panel) for the evaluation of the organoleptic characteristics of virgin and extra virgin olive oils.

This committee has been officially recognized by the Ministry of Agricultural Policies with Decree No. 0003132 of 06/05/2017 and is included in the official list of professional tasting committees maintained by the Ministry of Agricultural, Food, and Forestry Policies.

The OP LATIUM Panel consists of tasters registered in the National List of Technicians and Experts in Virgin and Extra Virgin Olive Oils, and is led by a Head Panelist, Dr. Nicola di Noia, who is responsible for the coordination and operation of the tasting panel.
