Last week, at the Cooperativa Agricola C. Battisti in Vetralla, an information meeting was held, organised by the Producer Organisation OP LATIUM, to discuss the possibilities offered by the current Operational Programme, specifically regarding the actions related to the technical assistance programmes it includes.
The many members gathered at the Vetralla mill were shown the possibilities offered by EU Regulations 611/2014 and 615/2014, which provide, in addition to monitoring the main olive tree pests and the crop’s phenological stages, technical assistance services covering all aspects of the olive-growing supply chain, including pruning and fertilisation operations.
The strong turnout at the meeting, combined with the firm resolve of the Board of Cooperativa C. Battisti, will make it possible to deploy the great opportunities offered by OP LATIUM to give an ever-greater boost to promoting local extra virgin olive oil.
