OP Latium adopts agronomic practices that respect both the environment and consumer health, as outlined in the latest revision of the integrated production regulations of Regione Lazio.
Our technicians constantly monitor:
- The implementation of defined improvement plans, in coordination with the team leader, concerning energy consumption, fuel use and management, waste production, and biodiversity protection;
- The correct and complete recording of information in the field notebooks;
- The accurate geolocation of plots with references to natural habitats;
- The preservation systems for traditional local olive varieties.
“The goal of sustainable agriculture is to meet current needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own.
Sustainable agronomic practices that respect biodiversity are at the heart of our daily work.
Together, we work to improve the productivity of our olive groves while minimizing waste and pollution from agricultural activities in the field.”
Stefano Cifeca, Agronomist and Coordinator of OP Latium Technicians.
