It will also be possible to take part in “Spesa sospesa” (Suspended Shopping), the solidarity initiative launched by Campagna Amica to donate 100% Italian agri-food products to families in need.

An entire section is dedicated to pet therapy and the role of animals in caring for hardship. But the Village will also have space for vegetable gardens with tutors and a sensory trail, for Generazione Agricoltori, the area dedicated to the ideas of young agricultural entrepreneurs driving innovation in the country, and for initiatives by senior Coldiretti members.

You can take a course in Italian extra virgin olive oil at the Village’s Oleoteca and Enoteca, tasting the best extra virgin oils, wines and craft beer, or attend agri-cosmetics lessons from Coldiretti women with grandma’s beauty tips. At the Village you can also discover the opportunities and holiday packages offered by Campagna Amica Terranostra agritourism farms, with itineraries and tips for stopping to eat and sleep in a way that respects the environment and the culinary tradition of our countryside.

The health of younger generations with regard to eating disorders will be at the centre of the “Il cibo amico” (Food as a Friend) initiative promoted by Campagna Amica with the Bambino Gesù Foundation. But there will also be entertainment shows with concerts and traditional performances, as well as the Pompieropoli area set up with the Fire Brigade.

We are pleased to announce Op Latium’s participation in the Coldiretti Village, an event of great importance for agriculture and for showcasing the local area.
