The history of OP LATIUM<\/strong> is deeply rooted in a distant past long before its actual foundation.<\/p>\n The core of our organization of producers was formed through the merger of two historic olive oil cooperatives: “Colli Sabini”<\/strong> of Palombara Sabina, and “Farnese”<\/strong> of Castelnuovo di Farfa, both established in the early 1960s in a region rich in thousand-year-old agricultural traditions\u2014Sabina<\/strong>, known as the olive garden of Rome.<\/p>\n The strength and passion that define us, along with the experience of those before us, are the result of a generational heritage passed down by olive growers who have preserved the land and handed down their knowledge over time. Figures such as Catone, Varrone<\/strong>, and Columella<\/strong> already recognized the excellence of olive cultivation in the times of Ancient Rome.<\/p>\n For this reason, since 2011,<\/strong> when we were officially established, we have continued to grow, becoming the largest organization of olive producers of extra virgin olive oil<\/strong> and table olives <\/strong> in Lazio, a key
